American Diabetes Awareness
American Diabets Awareness Month is an annual campaign throughout the month of November in the USA to bring awareness to the growing prevelance of diabetes, the health risks associated with it, raise funds for research into the condition, and support people living with it.
Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar. The underlying cause of diabetes varies by type. But, no matter what type of diabetes you have, it can lead to excess high sugar in your blood. Too much sugar in your blood can lead to serious health problems.
Diabetes Symptoms: Increased thirst, urination, and hunger, unexplained weight loss, ketones in urine, fatigue, blurry vision, slow-healing sores, and frequent infection
